Park Slope Brownstone

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Located in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn this project was an exercise in keeping as many historical elements in place that the clients had fallen in love with when they purchased the property. Careful attention was then paid to updating the kitchen and baths, restoring and reconstructing intricate floors with mahogany inlays, replacing windows and doors with historically accurate, energy efficient products and restoring fireplaces among other details. A change to the roofline dramatically changed the top floor, flooding the space with light and adding ventilation throughout the house.
